At IBC2019, SERAPHIC Information Technology, the global leader of TV-centered solutions, showcases its latest Sraf Browser SDK.
Based on the recent stable Chromium/Blink browser engine, Sraf Browser SDK brings more advanced HTML5 features, which provide very powerful web application runtime environment to enable rich OTT content on smart TV/STB terminals. The SDK is specifically optimized for the embedded DTV/STB environment. What’s new for Sraf Browser SDK?
l Keep up-to-date support for HbbTV 2, OpApp, Freeview Play, TV Portal, Open Browser and other products with optimized memory and flash usage
l Provide more than 50 security patches
l Enable advanced HTML5 features on TV, for example, WebRTC to support new services, including P2P CDN networks, etc.
l Support the optimized WebAssembly, to provide the running environment for high-performance applications, such as games, on TV platform.
